For years many have debated if both Havoc and Prodigy produced beats on the early work of Mobb Deep. During Havoc's interview with The Breakfast Club he explained that starting out he'd be the genius behind production but gave Prodigy credit. After a number of years, Havoc realized that he needed to build his personal rep as a producer and that's when he started to put himself on the production credits of music for Mobb and for other artists.
